Virtual Engineering Design & Innovation Centre (VEDIC) is an Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, and Allied industries Center of Excellence. It is powered by the 3DExperience platform at Parala Maharaja Engineering College in Berhampur, Odisha, India. There is a cutting-edge facility available with advanced design, manufacturing, and simulation tools. These tools are used by major players in the business such as Airbus, Lockheed Martin, Tesla, and Tata Motors. The center offers engineering students a unique opportunity to learn, innovate, and experience industry processes and best practices, preparing them for the industry.

Skilling Students
The 3DExperience software training program prepares students for Industry 4.0 by teaching both basic and advanced applications.
3D Printing
An industrial-grade 3D printer is used to produce 3D models using materials like PLA, ABS, HIPS, PETG, and CF composites.
Internships & Projects
Offer internship projects with a duration of 1 to 3 months, as specified by the student's college or university.
Product Design
Through the use of 3D modeling & simulation tools, we designed a variety of innovative products and comprehensive case studies.

Our Achievements
The 3D Experience Project of the Year contest recognized exceptional advancements in engineering and design, showcasing the innovative contributions of student teams utilizing Dassault Systèmes’ platforms. The second prize was awarded to Team Builder for their project, the Dual Shaper Cutting Machine, Team Vertex received the third prize for their Robotic Prosthetic Arm project and Team Originator earned the Simulia Prize for their Structural Simulation of an Agricultural Drone Frame.
