About Us
The inception of the CoE
The Government of Odisha has planned to establish a Center of Excellence (CoE) at Parala Maharaja Engineering College (PMEC) in Berhampur. The CoE aims to train students, enhance their employability skills, and prepare them for Industry 4.0.
Specifically, the CoE will focus on Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, and Allied Industries. It will serve as a 3D Experience training hub, established in association with the following partners:
- Gram Tarang Employability Training Services Pvt. Ltd as the training partner
- Dassault Systemes as the software partner
- Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odisha as the funding partner
Learn with Experience
A distinctive educational platform is offered to students, enabling them to gain theoretical knowledge in the classroom while enhancing their skills in the 3DExperience lab. They engage with the operation and functionality of models in the AR VR Lab, utilizing HTC Vive and a large screen equipped with a 3D projector. Subsequently, they participate in discussions for further modifications in a designated discussion room, culminating in the printing of the model using a 3D printer.
